Live input — advanced
What changes from Level 1
- Record receptions, sets, digs, blocks, free balls, and attacks within the same rally.
- Use intermediate evaluations to keep the rally open.
- Add notes to important or unusual plays.
- Keep the on-court lineup accurate through substitutions and libero replacements.
Record your team's attack
Tap the attacker, choose Attack, then select:
- Kill
- Rebound — the ball returns to your team
- Negative dig forced / blocked
- Positive dig allowed
- Error / stuff-blocked
Only Kill and Error / stuff-blocked end the rally.
Record an opponent attack
Choose the opponent as the player side, then record Attack and its outcome. Follow with your team's block or dig when the rally continues.
Add a note
Use Note for context that does not fit an evaluation, such as a tactical target, communication issue, or unusual play. Notes appear on the Review page and can be edited later.
Keep notes brief during live input. You can expand them after the set.
Temporary player positions
Drag players to match their receive or defensive formation. This helps the recorder tap the correct player quickly. Tap Default positions to return to the lineup's calculated positions.
Substitutions
Open Substitution, choose the player leaving and the player entering, and confirm. ATaMa volley updates the on-court lineup while preserving the underlying serve-order rotation.
Libero movement is handled as a libero replacement and does not count as a regular substitution.
Correct a rally in progress
Use Undo repeatedly to return to the incorrect step, then enter the correct player, action, or evaluation. For a saved rally, use Review.
Mark a rally for later review
Use Review later when input falls behind or the play needs video confirmation. The rally is marked in the score timeline and Review page so it is easy to find after the set.
