Match setup
Create a new match
Tap New match on the home screen and enter:
- Opponent name or registered opponent team
- Match date
- Match or practice format
- Input mode
- First server
See Input modes before choosing a specialized analysis mode. The input mode cannot be changed after the match starts.
Set the rotation
For standard categories, place six starters in rotation order. Position 1 is the first server, followed clockwise by positions 2 through 6. Check jersey numbers carefully before continuing.
For elementary-school teams using the no-rotation category, assign players to their fixed default positions instead.
Set the setter
Select the starting setter. This lets ATaMa volley label setter positions and rotation breakdowns correctly.
Configure the libero
Add a libero and choose which starter they replace. A libero entry is recorded as a libero replacement, not a regular substitution, and therefore does not increase the substitution count.
If your team uses two liberos, configure the replacement conditions shown on screen. Confirm the expected on-court lineup before starting the set.
Load or save a lineup template
Use Load template to reuse a saved lineup. After making adjustments, save the current setup as a new template if it will be used again.
Start recording
Review the opponent, server, rotation, setter, and libero, then tap Start recording. The live screen opens with the score at 0–0.
Fix setup mistakes early
Player positions can be adjusted during live input, but correcting the starting rotation after many rallies may affect rotation-based analysis. Check the first server and lineup before the opening serve.
